It’s another update for WordPress. They’re updating faster than I’m blogging recently!
Updating to a new WordPress release.
Yay! My better half and I both passed our Silver medals for Ballroom and Latin dances with the UKA.
Next time, for Gold, we have to do three different styles in each category. So we’ll be adding either a tango or a foxtrot for Ballroom and either a rumba or a samba for Latin.
Updated the blog with the latest WordPress 2.6
More training with the UKTQF this last weekend. Polishing Wild Goose 1 and 2, with a bit of Spine stretching and Spiralling, plus joint mobilisation exercises. I have to admit to some sore leg muscles!
After seven years of trusty commuting service, I’m retiring my hardtail mountain bike. I’ve gone for a lighter hybrid bike which better suits my regular cycling patterns. So, many thanks to the Schwinn Mesa GSX, and hello to the Trek 7.3 FX.
With a bit of nerves before hand, my better half and I took our Ballroom and Latin silver medal tests with the UKA yesterday. We danced waltz, quickstep, cha cha and jive. Fingers crossed, we’ll get the results within a week.
When marimba rhythms start to play…
I learnt the Wild Goose spine stretching (WG 7 in Bingkun Hu’s DVDs) set last weekend with the UKTQF. A lovely movement form full of swaying.
Some more practitioners who train with the UKTQF have uploaded their form videos on to YouTube.
